Kasey Kahne has quickly become one of the most recognizable drivers in the Cup garage after posting six wins in 2006. After a disappointing 2007 season Kahne is looking to 2008 as a new year with new beginnings. With a new sponsor on board, Kahne has started 2008 looking poised to get back in the chase and contend for his first Cup Championship.
Between races Kahne will also look to battle it out with his fans in the poker rooms of the Victory Lane Players Club. But fans of the young NASCAR driver better watch out because he's taking to Texas Hold'em as quickly as he took to stock-car racing.
In 2004, the 26-year-old driver from Enumclaw, Washington was an unknown rookie, but by the end of the season, Kasey Kahne was a household name. Whether it was his hard-charging style on the race track or the year-long media frenzy, Kahne's popularity skyrocketed.
Kahne was tabbed to replace legendary Bill Elliott, which was an honor in itself. In 2008, he'll take great pride in winning on the track and at the VLP Club poker tables! Kasey's competitive nature is only satisfied with one thing - winning, no matter what game.
