Jamie McMurray is focused on winning races and drawing aces in 2008 as a driver and member of the Victory Lane Players Club. McMurray began racing at the age of eight on the local tracks around his hometown of Joplin, Missouri.
Jamie exploded onto the stock-car circuit by winning his first race in only his second start. McMurray, who was filling in for the injured Sterling Marlin, won the fall race in Charlotte and set a new record by becoming the quickest driver to win a race in stock-car racing's elite series. McMurray earned his second career win in 2007 at Daytona in the July race edging out Kyle Busch by 0.005 seconds in one of the most exciting finishes in the Cup season.
